Marathon

Every day is one day closer to meeting our baby girl! In the mean time, we continue to pray for her, love her, talk about her, study her picture, and share this exciting news with everyone we know. Thank you for sharing in our excitement and joy!!!

This blog will be our updates along this last leg of the "marathon". Thank you for cheering us on as we wait...and scurry to get ready. We plan to travel to China in about 6 weeks to bring Evian home!

Enjoy these pictures of our little sweetie. They were taken in January when she was about 3 months old. We have fallen in love with her! Evian's birthday is September 25th, 2009. She was dropped off at her orphanage the very next day, which happens to be Elianna's (our 8 year old) birthday. Elianna is very excited to celebrate this special birthday connection with her little sister! We are especially thankful to know that Evian has been cared for by the orphanage nannies since she was just one day old.

Thank you for celebrating with us and praying for us!!!

Thanks for letting me meet your daughter. What a sweet blessing to you and to her. She is the little one chosen by the Lord to be a part of your lovely family.
Love to you,

It is amazing and reassuring to know that the God of Woodbury MN is the same God of Guangdong China. We felt so much love and guidance bringing our little Mina home from China 7 years ago. We know that He will guide your lovely family each step of the way. Congratulations, this makes us smile and cry with joy all at the same time!

hi Russ and Di! I'll be excited to follow your journey.... any chance you'll be near us when you meet Evian?

We just started the adoption process a few months ago, home study is done and we wait to match with a birth mom for US domestic adoption. We hope to get a baby this fall while on furlough :)

looking forward to watching God work in your family through this journey!
